Very Quick Washi Card

Past 2 months its really busy with work and my craft activity is really pretty less, not participating in any challenges and not making anything new much. :( But I was really carving to do something so I made this really quick card with Washi tapes. I saw this simonsaysstamp challenge which was with Washi so I thought it will be quick. The background is all with Washi Tapes though I am not liking it. I really think I could have co-ordinated the tapes much better, still I love Washi tapes so could not resist. The stamped and colored image I already had.

As I promised myself that I will improve my pictures so here is the first try with clean background.

A Day Well Spent with a Friend

2 weeks back, on Sunday I invited one of my pretty good friend. Her plan was to come from long long but never worked out. Finally she was home and I was excited to cook also.  I decided to make her pasta, Gobi Manchurian (Dry), Paneer Butter Masala and Vegetable Rice. I forgot to take a picture and later when it was served I managed to get this. Rice is missing here.. The day was really nice and well spent.. We chatted, I showed her my craft stuff, sipped filter coffee...

New Year Card for my niece

Posting a card which I made to give it to my niece's school mate. Their school asked to get new year's cards, simple one. She is not even 2 years old so I have kept some baby theme. Pic is not good. From now onwards but I have promised myself to take better pictures.

Card with Tag

This month I did pretty less crafting, busy with work and other stuff. Did only yesterday and today. This was made for my niece for her school, later I decided to do a matching tag and participate in the challenge. Though the card and the tag both are not that good and people have awesome creations, still I wanted to play along.

Vanilla Cake

This weekend was busy and I could not do any craft work. I met my friends after very log today and this was good. Day was well spent. I made this cake yesterday so sharing these pics only. This is simple cake, did not come out that well and spongy .. I lost my recipe so mixed some other recipes and result was OK. Simple frosting..

Did some more decoration with sugar balls and here is the view:

Shabby Scary Cat

Shabby cat card, this is not really how I wanted it to look. This is specially made for lulupu challenge. I did not want to make circle and some die cut shape card so tried this. Wanted it to look cute but this is more like not even CAT but that's how it is. Was in no mood to do anything more with it. This is cat shaped card, distressed the edges with scissor the with distress ink. Some ribbons, laces, flowers and buttons. 

I wanted to use paper piecing to make her dress but then changed the mind.
